We Can Help Clients From All Over The World Obtain Permanent Residency
Through The Express Entry Immigration System

Do you have extensive work experience or education in your current place of residence? Are you looking to permanently live in Canada and contribute to its economy? Have a job offer from a Canadian employer? Under the Canadian immigration system, you could have eligibility to enter Canada under Express Entry.

What Is Express Entry?

The Government of Canada provides invitations to eligible candidates to apply for permanent residency. This allows the Government to bring skilled workers to the country and have them take part in the economy. It is a faster and more efficient way to receive a PR card if you have the language, work and education expertise the Government is looking for. Currently, there are three programs under this opportunity:

Federal Skilled Worker Program

Test 2

Federal Skilled Trades Program

Test 2

Canadian Experience Class

Test 2

Are You Eligible?

Eligibility is determined under the following categories for the FST and CEC programs:

Work Experience

To qualify for Express Entry, in this case, applicants must have work experience in their country of origin or in Canada depending on the program they’re eligible for. A worker can have held a job that was either full-time or an equal amount in part-time. We can help you determine the eligibility of certain occupations.

Language Abilities

Prior to entering the Express Entry pool, a language test is required. As per the Government of Canada, all candidates will have to demonstrate language proficiency in an official Canadian language, either English or French.

Education Requirements

To be eligible to enter the Express Entry pool under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), a candidate must have an Educational Credential Assessment of their completed foreign educational credentials.

Proof Of Funds and Admissibility

Under the FSWP, applicants must show they have enough funds to settle in Canada. Candidates and their family members must also meet the required admissibility guidelines set forth by the Government of Canada.

How To Apply

If you believe you meet the work experience, language education and admissibility criteria, you can create an online profile on the Government of Canada’s website for the Express Entry Pool, known as an Expression of Interest (EOI). A comprehensive ranking system is then used to assess your profile based on:

  • Age
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Language Proficiencies
  • Family Members (who are Canadian citizens or have permanent residency status)
  • Information On Any Relevant Job Offers

The Comprehensive Ranking System

Candidates receive points based on the information on their profile. High-ranking applications will be invited to apply for permanent residency. Invitations take place every two weeks. The ranking is determined by Core Points + Additional Points.

Core: Up to 600 points
  • Language skills and experience factors
  • Spouse or common-law partner factors, such as their language skills and education
  • Skills transferability, including education and work experience
Additional: Up to 600 points
  • Canadian degrees, diplomas or certificates
  • Valid job offers from a Canadian employer
  • Nomination from provinces or territories
  • Sibling living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident

If you are invited to apply, you have 60 days to submit an application for permanent residence

Express Entry Is A Two-Step Immigration Process

Step One: Candidates will have to express an interest in immigrating to Canada, and those who are eligible for one of the federal economic immigration programs will be entered into the Express Entry Pool.

Step Two: A portion of applicants will be invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Individual provinces will have their own streams and requirements, giving preference to students, business people, skilled workers or semi-skilled workers.

No, the intention of express entry is to grant skilled immigrants with permanent residency in Canada. You will enjoy many of the same benefits as citizens, such as health care and the ability to work and live in any province of the country, but you don’t have the right to vote or run for office. Citizenship can be obtained after residents have been in Canada for a period of five years.

With Express Entry, Canada seeks to invite qualified, skilled immigrants who want to become permanent residents. This is a way to fill employment sectors where no Canadian workers are available. However, this doesn’t apply to every person and is just one way to obtain permanent residency. Many individuals who come here as students or temporary workers are able to stay after going through a formal application process.

No, you do not require a visa to apply for this program. The government will choose an eligible worker based on job offers, language abilities and educational background.
