L. Mendicino, Ministro de Inmigraci\u00f3n, Refugiados y Ciudadan\u00eda, anunci\u00f3 que los estudiantes que tengan o hayan tenido un PGWP tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de solicitar un permiso de trabajo abierto.\u00a0\u00a0Este permiso de trabajo abierto tendr\u00e1 una validez de 18 meses para permitir que los ex alumnos trabajen en Canad\u00e1 y aumentar la obtenci\u00f3n de la experiencia laboral que necesitan para solicitar la residencia permanente.<\/p>\n<p>Como se anunci\u00f3 el 30 de octubre de 2020, el Gobierno de Canad\u00e1 planea apoyar la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de Canad\u00e1 a trav\u00e9s de la inmigraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Permitir que los estudiantes internacionales obtengan un permiso de trabajo abierto les permitir\u00e1 buscar oportunidades laborales y solicitar la residencia permanente en la clase econ\u00f3mica. El gobierno de Canad\u00e1 entiende que los estudiantes internacionales \u00abaportan s\u00f3lidas habilidades laborales y ling\u00fc\u00edsticas, reforzadas por su educaci\u00f3n y experiencia laboral canadienses, por lo que generalmente est\u00e1n bien posicionados para solicitar el estado de residente permanente\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proceso de solicitud bajo esta nueva medida estar\u00e1 abierto del 27 de enero al 27 de julio de 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para solicitar un permiso de trabajo abierto bajo la nueva pol\u00edtica, debe cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Residir en Canad\u00e1<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Debe tener un estado temporal v\u00e1lido o solicitar la restauraci\u00f3n de su estado.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Debe tener un PGWP que venci\u00f3 el 30 de enero de 2020 o despu\u00e9s;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o tener un PGWP que vence en 4 meses o menos a partir de la fecha de solicitud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esperamos poder ayudar a los estudiantes internacionales .
